Ok... here's tip #1
STOP Exercising!
It's funny how many people call me crazy when I tell them to stop working out. They either were told to exercise by their chiropractor or therapist, or they just assumed they needed to "strengthen their back".
Often times, exercising will worsen the condition. I am not saying exercise is not important when it comes to eliminating back pain, just that you MUST choose the right exercises at the right time.
So if you are exercising now, stop completely and give your self a good 5-7 days rest and see how you start to feel.
Then, after the days of rest, your back should feel less irritated/inflamed and then you can move on to step 2 which is... covered by going here.
